Tim Reynen, President

Tim is the President at Creative Benefit Solutions, Inc. He works closely with employers to identify their needs and match them with a vendor who can provide the necessary employee benefits while protecting the client’s bottom line. He also places executive benefits such as key man life, disability and long term care insurance that allow employers to attract and retain senior level management. Staying relevant in the changing world of benefits is critical to managing his business and therefore he stays abreast of alternate strategies and listens to his client’s needs so that he can change business processes when needed. Technology also plays a key role in the solutions, including automated enrollment, compliance calculators, and online HRIS, that are identified for clients. These efforts assisted Creative Benefit Solutions, Inc. in becoming one of South Florida Business Journal’s 25 Largest Insurance Agencies based on their high volume of business.

Prior to starting Creative Benefit Solutions, Tim worked in technology consulting for Andersen Consulting (Accenture) and Vaultus, Inc. working both domestically and in Spain. Tim has used his consulting background to enhance the services he offers clients and provide an additional level of benefit to businesses.

Tim is active in the business community, having served as an Advisory Board Member of the Broward Bank of Commerce in Fort Lauderdale which successfully exited to Centennial Bank. He has also served as a business consultant to a number of local and national businesses and has participated in raising capital for and investing in several venture capital engagements.

Tim enjoys living an active lifestyle and makes it a point to exercise daily. He has raced in several marathons and completed an Ironman triathlon. He is an avid tennis player, but he most enjoys spending time skiing with his family. Tim loves to travel and has done so extensively throughout North America, Europe and Australia.

Tim regularly gives of his time to improve the community. He currently serves as the Chair of the Beautification Committee at Harbordale Elementary School. He has coached baseball and has been a volunteer soccer coach since 2012. He also assists with building the sets for middle school plays.

Tim received a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Spanish from Union College in Schenectady, NY. He also participated in an immersion Spanish program at Middlebury College in Middlebury, VT and studied abroad in Sevilla, Spain.

 

 

Gina Ciolino Reynen, Vice President

Gina is the Vice President at Creative Benefit Solutions, Inc. She is responsible for creating custom communication materials for clients, assisting clients with customer service issues and health care claims and annually markets plans and assists with financial analysis. She previously worked in television news and public relations.

Gina is actively involved in the community. She currently serves as the Assistant Treasurer for the Harbordale School Association, where she has been an active Board Member and volunteer since 2015. She also is a member of the Harbordale Elementary School Advisory Council, assisting in making decisions for the school as a community partner. She served as the 2012-2013 President of the Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale and served in various other leadership positions with the Junior League including serving four years on the Board of Directors. Gina is a member of Leadership Broward Class XXX. As part of her program she worked with several classmates to create the Traveling Plate underground supper club, which won the award for the best Community Project in 2012. She has volunteered locally with Museum of Art | Fort Lauderdale, the United Way of Broward County, Broward Cares for Kids, the Association of Women in Communications, and Miami Children’s Hospital among others.

Gina has received numerous accolades for her volunteer and professional work over the years. She was recognized as one of South Florida’s 40 Under 40 by Gold Coast Magazine in 2013. She also received a Volunteer of the Year award from Hands On Broward in 2012. She was awarded the Virginia Gamble Award for outstanding voluntarism by the Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale in 2007 and the President’s Award in 2008. She was also awarded the Association of Women in Communications’ P.R. Olympics Merit Award in 2006.

Gina received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. She also participated in the Washington Journalism Semester at the American University in Washington, DC.
